In an unknown Asian
country, 6 Air Force officers are caught infiltrating a secret ceremony by a
Cobra-worshipping cult. They escape to their civilian lives in New York, but a
cobra cult curse follows them and they start turning up dead, one by one.
Meanwhile, one of the flyboys romances his exotic neighbor. Could she somehow
be mixed up in the murders?
A lot of the post-40s
Universal horrors are more boring than their 30s and 40s counterparts, mostly
because they’re all about 20 minutes too long. This one’s an exception,
though, with an exciting plot and interesting characters. The cobra dance in
the forbidden ceremony at the top of the picture is worth the price of
admission, but the plot of the arrogant American servicemen getting knocked off
one by one for butting into another culture is worth staying for.
