A beautiful presidential
candidate hires her schlubby childhood acquaintance to be her speech writer and
love blossoms. Complications arise when their relationship is put to the test
by parties who think the mismatched pair won’t look very good to voters.
This movie is just as
charming as most other Seth Rogen vehicles, with similar ingredients: a little
drug humor and a lot of improv. Charlize Theron also rises to the occasion in a
rare comedic performance – she should do more comedies.
