A sports agent gets the
power to read men’s minds when she’s clocked on the head at a bachelorette
party. Soon she’s excelling in both her career and relationships, if she
doesn’t get in her own way.
This is another one where
the premise is better than the execution – it’s a nice gimmick, but it never
goes all the way for broke. There’s one scene that goes insane at a wedding,
but it could have gotten there without the mind-reading gimmick. Taraji P.
Henson is great as the lead and I feel like a broken record this Romancefest
because this is where I say she’s better than the material and also that she
should do more comedies.
