After a near hook up on
their last day of college, we check in on two friends’ lives on the same day
each year as they grow and change, find other relationships, and constantly
find themselves pulled back together.
An interesting premise
and a good cast can’t save this one from its pacing problems. Maybe the
cyclical, repetitive nature of updating us one day each year adds to this, I’m
not sure, but this is the kind of movie where I was actually thinking how nice
it was until I checked the run time and realized I had a whole other hour to go
before it would be over. That’s not to say it’s abnormally long, it just feels
that way, which is too bad.
